Tasers do not kill. If you get pulled over by the police and you run from the car, then now you have done something wrong. If he was such a good kid then why did he run. Did he run because he had drugs on him, maybe he had a gun on him, either way it is a criminal act to flea from officers when stopped.

The police are doing their best to clean up that part of Warren and Detroit. If Mitchell was guilty of a criminal act, he could have been tried and sentenced as an adult. I guess what ever health condition he had that caused his low voltage death, was a blessing to being tried in court.

When an officer confronts a suspect they have no clue what their health condition is. Tasers have been tested on many medical devices and found to cause no harm. Tasers do not KILL. With out Tasers officers would had no choice but to use Deadly Force if the suspect would not comply to the officers comands or request.

Let this be a lesson to other Detroit Teens that are considering criminal acts, you will be next.

Jon he wasn’t even driving the car! He didn’t need a license. He was just sitting there and then he decided to run…. go figure? Well, that’s one decision he didn’t live to regret. Sad.

I agree with you……my brother is a cop and everyone wants to blame the police. Why, cause you can’t accept that fact that “your precious baby” did something wrong. I am 29 and don’t have my own children..but let me tell you..I only ran from the Police when I was doing something wrong.

If he was in special education what was he doing in a car? Really now, if he has the mental capacity of a 10 year old then why does he have a license? Why haven’t his parents explained what to do in a situation of getting pulled over, I mean it really is not the cops fault. He was following procedure and was just doing what the situation called for. Im sure the kid had many chances to comply before the cop tazed him and to have the parents sue is just really out of anger or grief. I agree with you 100% here though.
