I’m sure that ABC’s homophobic move to keep Adam Lambert off of its show was thought out, but can anyone explain to me why they are putting a guy who has plead guilty to assaulting a woman, Chris Brown, on their show instead? Is it better to be a convicted woman beater than to be a gay male?

Women have worn skimpy clothing, kissed other women, simulated sex and kissed men on various award shows for years. Yet, when you have a guy who does the EXACT same thing, ABC goes crazy. I can understand that. There are a lot of people who are not comfortable with the thought of a man with another man. However, to put a convict who brutally attacked a woman on their show IN PLACE of that gay guy is absolutely ridiculous. What kind of message does that send to the women of the world? What message does that send to the victim? What message does that send to the gay and lesbian community? They would rather have a straight woman beater than feature a gay man on their show. I just can’t believe it.

Homophobic behavior is just plain stupid. When will we learn that people are equal? Homophobia is very stupid.
