There are some statements which are so overtly over the top that you just have to cringe twice when you hear them! G.Gordon Liddy, the former convict who served four and a half years in prison on a 20 year sentence that Jimmy Carter reduced to 8, had this to say about Obama’s pick of Sonia Sotomayor for the supreme court. 

“Let’s hope that the key conferences aren’t when [Sotomayor]’s menstruating or something, or just before she’s going to menstruate. That would really be bad. Lord knows what we would get then.” 
 

Now if that wasn’t amazing enough for you, he went on to say that the supreme court should NOT be representative of the people of the US. He feels that the House Of Representatives is the only place where there should be diversity. Here are his exact words.

“…everybody is cheering because Hispanics and females have been quote underrepresented end quote and as you pointed out, which I thought was quite insightful, the supreme court is not designed to be and should not be a representative body. We have a House of Representatives. The Supreme Court isn’t supposed to be in any way like that.”

It gets better! He even likened speaking Spanish to speaking ‘illegal alien’!

“…Sotomayor is a member of ”La Raza”,  which means in ‘Illegal Alien’, The Race…”

Wow! The sad thing is that this guy is very, very serious! He means what he is saying and he likely believes what he is saying. I can’t even believe that he said that. I had to listen to it about 4 times to make sure I wasn’t imagining things!

Now I could break down everything he said, but his words are so outrageous that I think you should hear this for yourself. He is a fucking nut. He was convicted of a crime, served time in prison, yet is here saying these horrible things about this woman. How amazing! How can ANYONE and I mean ANYONE feel good about being a Republican. McCain was good friends with this guy. He even went on his show. You want to talk about being a pal of convicts? McCain certainly had his fair share. Why is it that the only way that Republicans can communicate is through hate filled speeches like this? Limbaugh, Liddy & O’Reilly oh my! I feel like this is some sort of hate Twilight Zone. Why can’t these people get beyond this petty race baiting behavior and focus on why the economy went south during the Bush administration or focus on something else that would be beneficial to people? This type of hate filled, hurtful speech is just stupid and produces nothing useful. Listed to a part of the interview below:
