The writers over at Forbes must be smoking some pretty hallucination-causing stuff. I recently saw a report where they stated that Angelina Jolie is more powerful than Oprah. I like Angie and all, but more powerful than Oprah????

First, let’s just talk about Oprah’s wealth. Wealth does not necessarily equal power but Angie made about $27 million last year and Oprah made about $276 million. So in other words, Oprah made 10 times what Angie made. Oprah has influenced and continues to influence so many facets of American life. There is the book club which makes a best seller out of every book recommended, there are the shows - Dr. Phil, Rachel Ray, etc., there is the network she owns, the magazine, etc. Do you mean to tell me that Forbes really thinks that Angie’s reach extends beyond Oprah’s?

When I saw it I just had to laugh. You can’t have a discussion about Angelina without someone bringing up the fact that she was sleeping with Brad Pitt AND pregnant by him LONGGGGGG BEFORE he was divorced! You would think it happened yesterday the way some people act when her name comes up. How many people can say that about Oprah? I’m not saying that everyone loves Oprah, but more people love Oprah than love Angelina.

Sorry Forbes, but you need to put the weed down and start doing some serious reporting. A report that states that Angie is more powerful than Oprah is stupid.
