I’m all about justice for dumb idiots that make the decision to shoot into a crowd and end up killing innocent people, but I’m also all about fair justice. Back in 2006 Brian Cole was shot in a drive by shooting in Minnesota. Just so we are clear, let me just say that Minnesota is a terrific place to live. The people are really nice, the neighborhoods are beautiful and, for the most part, the area has low crime. There are, however, pockets of assholes that love to commit stupid crimes. This crime is one example of this.

Anyway, Kirk Harrison shot into a crowd and killed Brian Cole. A man named Lincoln Caldwell was driving the car. Here is where the story gets stupid. Kirk Harrision, who did the actual shooting, gets a second degree murder charge and subsequently is convicted of that charge, BUT Lincoln Caldwell, who was driving the car that Kirk was in when he shot into the crowd, was charged and convicted of first degree murder!! What? How is the driver of the car MORE responsible than the actual murderer? That’s stupid! In fact, it’s very stupid.
