I don’t watch Oprah during the day, however, thanks to the magic of DVRs I can watch her at night when I have time. I just finished watching the Elizabeth Edwards interview and something she said made me want to gag. Oprah asked if she blamed the other woman. She said that she blames John but the other woman should have had respect for her and her marriage given how public her life is. I almost fell off the sofa. If that isn’t the biggest bunch of bullshit I’ve ever heard I don’t know what is.

First of all, I think it is absolutely not the other woman’s fault! Elizabeth doesn’t know what John was saying to the other woman. John Edwards is a fucking liar and a cheater. She doesn’t know what he was saying to the other chick. He was likely telling her that he was no longer in love with his wife and that he was going to end the marriage. Maybe he was telling her to hold on because Elizabeth was dying. Elizabeth said she had a perfect marriage even though John cheated. What the hell? She said that she can’t discount the entire marriage for this one indiscretion. I agree that she shouldn’t, but I think that placing blame on the other woman is a faulty view of the situation. You just don’t know what he was saying to this woman. You just don’t know. I think that the other woman should have run because he was married, but I have had met married people who told me they were in the middle of a divorce and then they got divorced. I’ve also met people who said they were and they were lying. Either way, I walked away quick, fast and in a hurry, but we just don’t know what John was saying to this chick.

She said that she didn’t want Oprah to mention the woman’s name. She said that she didn’t want to mention the name of someone who was trying to destroy her marriage. John is the one who was doing that! Not the other woman!! Why do women look at the other woman as the devil instead of looking at the husband as the devil? He is the one that took vows! I think that the ‘other woman’ should not have involved herself in the situation, but damn - John Is A Liar! He was likely lying to the other woman like he was lying to his wife. He couldn’t even come clean when he first told his wife. He couldn’t even be honest BEFORE he ran for the presidency! He knew he was fucking around before he said he was going to run. What the fuck was he thinking? John Edwards is very stupid and cheating husbands are very stupid and blaming the other woman is very stupid.
