Now I’m almost sure why Jobs left his CEO position:
Jobs, Wozniak, Markkula and few others were young when they created their enthusiastic project. At first it started making money in normal way. Later some other people infiltrated and right now the whole thing is organized as big blackmail. Jobs wanted to become CEO to try to make things more fair. But he couldn’t fight them quick enough. Roots are too deep.
I bet right now he thinks for himself “OMG, I created a monster!”

Why, you ask?
I don’t know about English, but in my language there is word “mamipara”, which is made of two words “mamiti” (to lure) and “pare” (money). Translation, if exists, would probably be “moneylure”.
Having iTunes on kid’s phone you can be sure (they can make sure) that some of kids will sooner or later steal parent’s credit card number and spend a fortune on music and movies, including Justin Bieber and Rebecca Black.
Would you expect them to show people how to remove “money squeezer” if you already know why they put it there in the first place?

Thanks for the info! I would have never figured that out on my own. The issue for me is restricting YouTube, Safari and location on my daughters iPhone.

I don’t understand why Apple makes it so hard to use the options they put on their own product.

Thanks for the tip. Is there any way to remove the stock app and some of the others that come with the ipod? it’s not in the restriction section and it’s useless to me anyways.
