Many American people don’t know this, but the US defends its own. In a lot of situations that you don’t hear about on our repressed, oppressed and depressed media, the US comes to the defense of its citizens when they are taken or captured. Many secret missions have been undertaken with the goal of bringing US citizens back home. Usually those missions are clandestine and very bloody for whoever is holding the US citizen(s).  This was something that the Somali pirates should have taken into account before they took an American.

Now there may be some of you who don’t believe what I’m saying. Let me ask you something. Have you ever heard of an American being on board ANY of the ships that have been taken until now? Nope. The Somali’s have become brazen because no other country has attacked them. They thought that the US would just do the same as all of the other countries. Instead, what they have seen is a tremendous increase in the efforts of the American military to prevent them from going onshore with the captain of the attacked US ship. I am sure that one of two things is going to happen. Either you will see the captain killed along with the pirates or the pirates will release the captain in exchange for their freedom. What you won’t see is the Somalian pirates allowed to go to shore with the captain.

These pirates bit of a little more than they could chew by attacking an American ship. Although might not hear about it on mainstream media, this story isn’t going to have a pleasant ending for someone. The question is who. All I can say is if you are going to sail anywhere near the horn of Africa and the Gulf of Aden, you better be an American. Sailing there if you are anything else might be very stupid.
