Ok. She didn’t actually bite the ear that feeds her, but, I have to say that I think I love Kimberly Michelle Massey. This woman has a lot of chutzpah! According to a criminal complaint filed in Minnesota in Hennepin County District Court, Kimberly Michelle Massey decided to take a bite of crime - literally. According to Kimberly, she and her boyfriend were having an argument. He was attacking her and she was defending herself when she decided that he wasn’t listening so she bit off his ear. You heard that right! (Or read that right :-) ) She bit off his ear! Maybe he was listening. I’m just being dramatic. It is interesting to see a woman pulling off a Mike Tyson on her boyfriend. Did he sit still for that?

The incident happened on April 9th, 2009. Massey was charged with third-degree assault, a felony, which police say happened in an apartment on East Grant Street in Minneapolis. According to the police report,  police officers responding to an assault call found a man sitting in a chair, his left eye swollen and blood running down the left side of his face and neck. They also observed that the “victim” was missing the entire portion of his left ear. At Hennepin County Medical Center, the victim told the officers that he was injured during a fight with Massey. “The defendant punched him several times and then bit off his ear lobe,” the complaint said.

The building manager told police she heard screams coming from the apartment and saw the victim trying to push Massey away. Kimberly Massey admitted separating the man from his left ear lobe but claimed she did so in self-defense, according to the criminal complaint filed in Hennepin County District Court.

If this guy put his hands on her first, then he got exactly what he deserved. If that wasn’t the case, Kimberly should face the charges that all other domestic abusers face. Although I’m sure she was frustrated, biting of someone’s ear is very stupid….but it is fun to read…
