WHAT I THINK ABOUT THE STUPID STUFF GOING ON IN THE WORLD
Sometimes I am amazed that there are so many stupid people in this world. How does anything ever get accomplished? How does anyone ever grow up to be somewhat normal? A 36 year old Wisconsin father was upset because his 9 year old son was in front of the TV and not moving fast enough to stop blocking his field of view, soooooooo…….he shot the little boy with a BB gun. The little boy had to write an essay for school. He wrote the essay about the “painful afternoon my Dad shot me with a BB gun.” Way to go dumb ass dad! The teacher turned the paper over to authorities and this fool was charged.
I could go on about what I think about this idiot, but he said it best.
“I knew right away it was a stupid thing I did,” the father said. “I told my kids the only way I’m going to touch them is to kiss them, hug them, tickle them. I was very, I was not under the influence of anything. It was a very stupid decision.”
Ummmm dad…..Yaaaa think??????? According to published reports, this guy was released on a signature bond and ordered not to threaten or engage in any acts of violence against his son. He was also ordered not to engage in physical discipline of any child. I’m telling you, testing people before they are allowed to breed would stop stupid stuff like this.

LOL. SnallaBolaget, it wouldn’t be difficult at all. It would be just like applying for a driver’s license, applying to become a lawyer, applying to be a police officer, applying to become a doctor, applying for a gun or applying for any of the numerous other items that require testing in the United States. Some people think what I’m saying is extreme, but let me ask you something. Do you think driving a car, becoming a doctor, becoming a lawyer or getting a gun are more important than being a parent and knowing how to take care of a child? You need training to do those things in most cases (there are some states that don’t require training to get a gun). Why do you have to be trained to own a weapon, but not a child? If we put people through psychological and financial tests before they are allowed to have one and then retest them each time they want more, the world would be a better place. Allow me to elaborate on some of the reasons that I would deny a person the right to have a kid:
Unable to afford a child
Not taking care of current children
Currently has too many children by too many woman
Currently has too many children by too many men
Clinically depressed and on medication
Physically unable to take care of a child
Multiple criminal convictions
Rape convictions
Prior abuse convictions
Drug addiction (prescription)
Drug addiction (illegal)
Currently has too many children and is unable to take care of current children
Unstable marriage (I don’t believe that people in a bad marriage should add to the frustration by having kids.)
Under my system, people would have to demonstrate their responsibility before they were “qualified” to have children. My system wouldn’t be absolutely perfect, becuase no system ever is, but you certainly wouldn’t have the high number of unwanted kids you do now and you would NEVER have anything like octo-mom.

Oh yeah…let me add one more category:
People who are currently on welfare
I don’t dislike people on welfare, I just think they need to get OFF of welfare before they have more kids. Welfare is meant to help people through a crisis. It is not meant to be a means to support your family forever.
