Nadya Suleman, the mother who just gave birth to octuplets yet already had 6 other children (ranging in age from 2 to 7), did an interview with Ann Curry and I have to say it left me wondering what idiot would implant additional eggs in her? This woman complained of having a dysfunctional childhood, yet told doctors that she had a happy childhood. She filed a workers comp claim and was paid because she couldn’t work, yet she had one child shortly thereafter and more later - before the octuplets. She stated that she divorced her husband of 12 years in 2008 because she was depressed and wasn’t being fair to him, then she goes and gives birth to octuplets from a sperm donor. So in interpret what she was saying like this - ”I don’t want to aggravate my husband, but I will add 8 more kids to the mix.” I guess she doesn’t care about how her depression can effect those children. Can you say ridiculous? The mother of this woman said that she was an only child and even when she was a teenager, she had unnatural thoughts of having a big family. She should have received mental help then, but maybe her mother didn’t think the girl was a serious as she really was.

There were other revelations that left you just shaking your head. She says that she had 3 miscarriages, but a doctor who had been treating her disputed that and said that she had to ectopic pregnancies, according to the report. Either way, this shows that this woman has been desperately trying to have kids prior to having the 6 she had. I think this woman is about as stupid AND mentally ill as they come. There are so many children that need a stable and loving home. There are so many children who are languishing in the foster care system. You have so many people for and against bringing unwanted kids into this world, yet no one talks and screams about all of the unwanted kids who are here and in the state foster care system or group homes. Then you have this woman, who has had severe times of depression to the point where she had to be seen by a physician, having all of these kids without the benefit of a father. Why? Who in their right mind does that?

The sad thing about this is that this woman is a career baby maker, she is only 33 and she is subjecting innocent children to her mental illness. This woman is now trying to peddle her story to anyone who will help her financially. I hope that someone does help her - not financially, but mentally! This woman is ill and I think that the doctor who implanted her should be charged with something. I don’t know what he should be charged with, but there has to be some law somewhere that can be applied to him. If there isn’t, there should be. This whole situation is very stupid…. a 33 year old single woman with 14 kids AND no job…what is this world coming to?
