Is BET The New KKK?

Posted on June 30 2011 In: Random Stupid Stuff, Random Stupidity

I just came across an article about the cable channel BET. BET stands for Black Entertainment Television. The funny thing about the channel is that it is owned by Viacom - which means that it really should be called BETCBW - Black Entertainment Television Created By Whites (LOL). The channel is HORRIBLE, in my humble Read the rest of this entry »

How do you quit being governor because you can’t handle it and then have people actually believe that you can or should be president? I just don’t know! Sarah is going on her bus tour. All I can think is….keep on rolling Sarah…somewhere where no one can find you!

State Sen. Bruce Casswell must really have been mistreated as a child. This “compassionate” Republican would like to “help” children in foster care by not allowing them to have new clothes. Under his plan, they would only be allowed to purchase clothing from thrift stores. That’s right! This plan, according to Senator Bruce is something that should happen because he didn’t get new items when he was growing up. What kind of person thinks that doing something like that is a good idea? Someone who has never spent any time around foster kids! All kids deserve to feel special. Relegating kids to second class citizenship just because they were born is about as compassionate as trying to shove a dump truck up someone’s butt! Senator Bruce Casswell should be ashamed of himself for even suggesting something so asinine! Why is it that Republicans push so hard against abortion and then say screw you once you get here? What happened to all of the help and support?

Trying to make foster kids into second class citizens given everything they have already undoubtedly been through is very stupid.

Yet another Republican official, Marilyn Davenport of OC, California, thinks it is appropriate to email derogatory pictures of Obama pictured as an ape. Is this the civility of compassionate conservatism? What is wrong with Republicans? It seems that Obama’s race has really upset them! First, they were so mad that fellow Republicans Read the rest of this entry »

Data is data right? Well let me say that data SHOULD be data. AT&T and Verizon seem to disagree with me. What do you think?

When you pay for a cell phone plan under AT&T or Verizon, you select a certain amount of data that you intend to stay under. I am on an unlimited data plan for my iPhone, but I got that plan before they stopped offering unlimited data. Now here is the problem. Let us say for a minute that you have a data plan for your phone that allows you 4GB of use. Shouldn’t you have the right to decide how to use that 4GB? Why should you have to pay for a separate plan to allow you to use your phone to connect to your laptop IF you stay under that 4GB limit? When you pay for electricity to your home, your ENTIRE home gets electricity. What the phone companies are doing is like the electricity company making you pay for the electricity to your home and then  making you pay AGAIN for electricity to just your refrigerator! That makes NO sense! If you want to charge more for someone to have data, then do that, but don’t charge me for the phone and then charge me again JUST to access data when I stay UNDER the GB limit (or in my case unlimited GBs) for my account.

I think we need an AT&T and Verizon class action lawsuit!

THAT is some scary stuff! Who knew that drugs could bring you down like that?

Natalie Munroe is in trouble. Natalie Munroe is a teacher in Pennsylvania. She created a personal blog that she used to vent about her students. Students found out about the blog and told the school administration who then suspended her with pay. Should she lose her job?

Oh Christina….Christina….Christina…. I love Christina Aguilera, but darn, darn, darn! How do you forget the lyrics to the Star Spangled Banner? You are a world class entertainer. You have sold millions of records. You are rich and successful. Do you mean to tell me you couldn’t take the time to remember the darn song? God! It makes Americans look so ridiculous. I can’t even look at her the same way anymore. Maybe it is just me.

There is currently a movement in the House to stop federal funds from being used to pay for an abortion. I’m so sick of this shit. I have to say it exactly like that. I’m SO incredibly sick of old Republican men trying to tell Read the rest of this entry »

Kelley Williams-Bolar is a good mother. She lives in Ohio and she did the best she could to put her kids in a good school. The problem is that Kelley Williams-Bolar did not live in the school district she wanted her children to attend. So what did Kelley do? She lied. She lied and said that she lived in the school district when Read the rest of this entry »
