I get so tickled when the things that politicians do backfire on them in ways they never expected. Sarah Palin charged her daughter’s travel for non official state business many times while governor, according to an investigation by AP. This story has been pushed down the totem poll on some news outlets and passed over. I for one really want to know about things like this because I think it smacks of hypocrisy. According to the AP report, Sarah Palin charged the state $21,012 for airline tickets for her kids. AFTER, John McCain selected her to be vice president, she went back and AMENDED her travel records!!! That is simply outrageous!!! If Barack Obama had done such a stupid thing, it would have been all over the news. As it is, Sarah does it and the story gets buried. Is the story on Yahoo News? It is, but it is all the way at the bottom of the elections page. Is it on Google? It is, but it is in the middle of the page. Yet, these same organizations put a stupid comment that Biden made at the top of the page when it happened. Why oh why can’t we get reporting instead of bias and spin from news outlets? If you’d kick Obama for something wrong, then kick McCain. If you would kick McCain, then kick Obama. Giving biased one sided reporting is just plain stupid to me. I hope you feel the same.

At least the New York Daily News is talking about the fact that the RNC spent $150,000 on Sarah Palin’s clothes and makeup!

I understand that she probably needed a little touch up, but $150,000 is a lot just to keep her looking good. Is campaign money supposed to be spent this way?

 There is at least one person out there who thought this was a little stupid too. According to the New York Daily News, one Democratic operative asked, “I wonder how ‘Joe the Plumber’ feels about his donation going to Sarah the Shopper.” “I guess she can also see Saks from her doorstep,” the party source said - a taskeoff on Palin’s comment that you can see Russia from Alaska. How funny! On one side note, I guess they did this because Cindy McCain always looks like a million bucks every time she steps out for her husband. Quite honestly, no woman connected with this election dresses as well as Cindy. Some rich people don’t know how to put together an outfit, but Cindy always looks great. But then again…..she looks great on her own dime!
