This story absolutely reinforces my belief that some of us need to die a slow and painful death. Melissa Huckaby is a 28 year old alleged murderer. Mellisa’s crime is absolutely amazing to me. She killed a little girl, Sandra Cantu, and put her body in an irrigation pond. That isn’t even the worst of it. She stuffed her body into a suitcase before she tossed it where it was found. Huckaby is the granddaughter of a pastor, Pastor Clifford Lawless, whose Clover Road Baptist Church was the subject of a police search. Mellisa taught Sunday school at the church.

This just makes you cringe. How can we protect our children? Can we send them to school? Nope! We have teachers having sex with them there. Can we send them to church? Nope! We have preachers and  Sunday school teachers having sex with them or killing them. What kind of world do we live in where we can’t even protect the most innocent among us? This is really a sad, sad story or should I say a very stupid story. Melissa Huckaby drive herself to the police station and turned herself in. If she did this, and according to police the things she said indicate that she did, I really hope she gets what she deserves.
