12 Year old Jahmeshia Connor will never see her 13 birth day. Sadly, inexplicably, this young lady went missing in Chicago and nothing was said about it in the mainstream media. Are we so concerned with who Tiger Woods is screwing that the life of a 12 year old child doesn’t matter to us? This young lady went to school and didn’t

return. Her mother, thinking her daughter went to visit an aunt, didn’t immediately become alarmed when the girl didn’t return home that evening. The next day, Jahmeshia Connor did not return home and her mother called the police. After that, there were no stories in the papers. There were no media reports about this missing child!

Jahmeshia was missing for 12 days until being found murdered. According to the coroner, she died two days before being found. That means that if the media had publicized her story it is possible that she could have been found before her death. Why is it that we care more about celebrities who can take care of themselves than we do about a missing child? The Tiger Woods story was covered in every major paper all over the world. This little girl went missing, stayed missing and was killed before anyone publicized any information about her. How sad. When will we as individuals and as a society get our priorities straight!

I feel so sad about this little girls death. Why can’t we protect our children from the real world monsters desperately trying to prey on them? Who knows the terror this little girl suffered before having her life taken from her so abruptly. This situation is more than just very stupid.
