WHAT I THINK ABOUT THE STUPID STUFF GOING ON IN THE WORLD
There are some things that really make you cringe when you find out about them. Today I found out something that I did not know. If you have HIV and are trying to get into the US, you will not be allowed! In fact, if you are a foreign national, and you have HIV, you can be deported from the US. This ban has been in effect for the last 15 years! Wow! This is one of the principal reasons why no worldwide AIDS conferences have been held in the US. People with AIDS from other countries could not come here to speak at such a conference so they have been held elsewhere. Guess the names of some of the other countries that have the same policy……..Russia, Libya, Sudan and Saudia Arabia.
Now the Democrats in congress are urging president Bush to move swiftly to end the travel ban. Can you imagine that the US actually discriminates against foreigners with HIV? Well I guess if you discriminate against people in the first place, adding foreigners with HIV to the list of people we discriminate against shouldn’t be too far fetched. The only thing I can say is that discrimination toward anyone about anything, especially something like this, is a very stupid thing.

In South Carolina a minister or pastor etc. attempts to form a civil union between couples of the same sex that minister/pastor can look forward to spending time in jail. If you want to talk about discrimination and stupidity in the same sentence make sure you add the words South Carolina. What makes the State of South Carolina a laughing stock is that ministers/pastors still preform civil unions and even marriages to same sex couples exept they dont advertise these services to the general public. In essence no one cares about these idiotic laws exept the few people that wrote them. I suppose, if it makes them sleep at night believing same sex couples “Arent” gettting hitched in their state, its best to let the ignorant man remain ignorant.
What is even funnier is that i walk by these ignorant idiots everyday and in the back of my mind im yelling and laughing, “Na Na Na Na Boo Boo…You missed me, You missed me you little prejudice jerk”. I suppose if i looked Gay they would keep their prejudice comments to themselves however they cant seem to keep their mouth shut. These same people who come up with these prejudice ideas are the same people that break their “Marriage Vows” with their unromatic whooplas in the office, car or local park then yell and scream to protect the TERM marriage as a sacred institution. HAHAHAHA..more like secret institution. The funny part is their other half…is doing it too although neither party will admit to it publicly. Now thats ignorance at it best. The point is…if no one admits to what they are doing…well it makes it all A okay doesnt it?

LOL Angie I have to tell you. I’m a supporter of gay marriage. You know why? I believe that gay people should be just as unhappy as straight people. Everyone has a right to that unhappiness - gay or straight - in my humble opinion.
When you walk pass that office, just know that your time will come. Black people in the south used to be nothing more than pieces of property. They could be bought and sold like groceries. Now we have a president who is half Black. If that can happen in this country, then gay marriage rights will happen too. The problem will be will you want to give those rights back after you get them………..
Marriage…..institutionalization at its very best!
