Dan it seems like that is EXACTLY what took place. Fortunately, the truth is now out and those judges will be going to a place that doesn’t pay them as well. Hopefully they will meet up with some of the people they have sentenced while they are in jail. One can only hope….

Who’s this assistant principal? Does he or she still have a job in the Wilkes-Barre public school system?

Whoever it was who pressed charges against this kid in this case (and it may not have been the assistant principal) should have his or her name publicized so that individual can reap the wrath of a billion Internet bloggers.

In fairness to the judge, he probably didn’t know the details of the case, and that it was perfectly legal behavior under the First Amendment. Ms. Transue said the “trial” lasted all of 45 seconds. Here’s probably what went down:

Judge: Next case.
Prosecutor: Your honor, this girl was harassing an assistant principal at her school.
Judge: Guilty! Three months in the can. Bailiff, remand the defendant. Next case.

From MY understanding, Hillary had NEVER been in trouble with the law before this incident EITHER. Also, it was not uncommon for ALL of the juvenile’s entering the judge’s courtroom to be first time offenders who were sent away for truency, drug paraphernalia, and even creating a Myspace page protected under the first amendment. These gentlemen should be ashamed of their disgraceful actions for the mistrust Luzerne county juveniles now have in their corrupt juvenile justice system.
